   1. Welcome to Citylets’ privacy notice in relation to this Valuation Tool on this site (“Website”).
   2. This privacy notice is issued on behalf of City (Scotland) Limited ("we", "us" or "our"), a company incorporated under company number SC475222 and have our registered office at Q Court 3 Quality Street, Davidson's Mains, Edinburgh, EH4 5BP.

2. How we collect Information from you

   1. We collect and process your personal information in the following ways:
      • you may give us information about you via our Website. This may include information you provide when you contact us via the Website, indicate your interest in a rental valuation or service;
      • you may give us information by corresponding with us by mail, text, e-mail or other form of electronic communication, telephone or in person;
   2. This Website is not intended for children and we do not knowingly collect data relating to children.
   3. It is important that you read this privacy notice together with any other privacy notice or fair processing notice we may provide on specific occasions when we are collecting or processing personal data about you so that you are fully aware of how and why we are using your data. This privacy notice supplements the other notices and is not intended to override them.

   2. All of our email marketing correspondence gives you the option to opt-out of receiving further marketing emails. Please note that you will still receive emails directly related to an enquiry you raised with us or a service or account you registered for.

   1. We use cookies, pixels and tags (collectively “Cookies”) on our Website in order to help improve our Website and provide you with a more personalised web service.

   1. Please be aware that the transmission of information via the internet is not always completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the complete security of your data transmitted to us electronically; any transmission is at your own risk.

       • Right to withdraw consent: where we are processing your personal data on the basis of consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time; and
       • Right to complain: you have a right to lodge a complaint with a Supervisory Authority, which is an independent public authority established in each EU member state in accordance with Data Protection Legislation. The Supervisory Authority for data protection issues in the United Kingdom is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Terms of Use

Introduction

Use of this Valuation Tool, powered by Citylets, on this site (the “Site”) is conditional upon you accepting the following terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”). Unless otherwise specified, your acceptance of the Terms and Conditions shall be indicated by your use of the Site. The Site is provided by City (Scotland) Ltd (SC475222) trading as Citylets, with a place of business at 21 Lansdowne Crescent, Edinburgh EH12 5EH (“we or us”).

These terms and conditions and our Privacy Policy, (together the “User Agreement”) form our entire agreement with you in respect of use of the Site and supersede any prior agreement or arrangement with you in respect of the Site.

Any breach by you of the User Agreement may, at our sole discretion, result in your rights to access the Site being suspended or removed.

Availability of the Site

We will endeavour to ensure that the Site is available 24 hours per day without any interruptions.  However, we reserve the right to make the Site unavailable at any time or to restrict access to parts, or all, of the Site without notice.

We make no guarantees that the Site is free from so called computer viruses.  It is strongly recommended that you check for such viruses before downloading the Site or any of its contents.

We accept no liability for any claims, penalties, loss, damage or expenses howsoever arising from: any reliance placed on the content of the Site; the use or inability to use the Site; the downloading of any materials from the Site; or any unauthorised access to or alteration to the Site.  This clause shall not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

General

If we fail to enforce any provision of this User Agreement, that failure will not preclude us from enforcing either that provision (or any similar provision) on a later occasion. 

Nothing in this User Agreement shall confer on any third party any benefit or the right to enforce any term of the User Agreement.

This User Agreement is governed by Scots law and any dispute connected with this agreement is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.  Nothing in this User Agreement affects any statutory rights you may have as a consumer. 

We reserve the right to amend or replace the Terms and Conditions at any time.  If we make any substantial changes we will notify you by posting a prominent notice on the Site.
